About Me
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Arizona. I am also the founder and co-director of the Applied International Development Economics (AIDE) Lab.
My work seeks to understand the social and economic processes behind environmental change and agricultural technology adoption. I use a combination of primary survey data, remote sensing, and applied econometric techniques to evaluate policies that aim to improve human well-being, particularly in data-scarce environments.
